I've just returned from the most relaxing holiday I've ever had. I took my husband to Famagusta after a holiday to North Cyprus last year. We stayed close to Kyrenia town last time which was great but we decided to try somewhere different to see what it had to offer. Sue at Go North Cyprus recommended Famagusta for its beauty and tranquillity.

The Long Beach Resort Hotel is a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful area. We stayed in one of their spacious villas which was very very clean and well decorated, not to mention well kitted out with all mod cons. The communal areas and grounds were clean and well kept also. I was so surprised at how close to the beach our villa was. It was like stepping out into paradise each day!

The area of Famagusta is a stunning place to visit. The scenery is beautiful, with unspoilt beaches and the atmosphere is peaceful. There is a lot of history and culture in the town too so there is really no need to travel far if you want to do a bit of exploring.

I'm really glad we stayed on a half board basis because the food at the Long Beach Resort was excellent. There was a wonderful choice on offer at breakfast and dinner, which included lovely authentic Turkish-Cypriot dishes. We ate in some of the local restaurants at lunchtime and were really impressed with these too.

I cannot express how keen my husband and I are to return to Famagusta. We will definitely try to book the Long Beach Resort Hotel again.
