I've been coming to the High Life hotel for 14 years now and love it more every time I come. The hotel disappeared from my usual site a couple of years ago and I now use Go North Cyprus. I recommend them whole heartedly and the friendly voice at the end of the free phone is invaluable.

Living the 'High Life' is what holidays are all about, and I was so looking forward to that first coffee on the sunny terrace. Imagine my surprise when I got there to discover the hotel had undergone a complete makeover! I loved the old version but have to admit this new one is absolutely fab!

The High Life has always been family run and I have watched Hussein grow from child to man. This was my second surprise of the day. In keeping with the start of this new journey he has now taken over the every day running of the hotel. His youthful enthusiasm complements the new, fresh ambience and the future of the High Life is in very good hands.

My favourite room, yes I ask for the same one every time, has been completely redecorated and has a lovely contemporary décor and new fabrics. The bathroom has been completely upgraded and while my room may look different it still feels like home. Food, outdoor areas, facilities, all still spot on just new and shiny. I was looking at the pictures other guests have posted and yes, it looks amazing, but you need to go to appreciate the warmth and personality of this fantastic place. If there is a better hotel in Kyrenia I would like to see it! How many hotels give you goosebumps as you drive towards it? I urge you to give this hotel a try if you are planning a trip to Northern Cyprus, chances are you too will become a Kyrenia addict like yours truly!
