Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 8 of 31 Reviews

During October I took a weeks leave from work and travelled to North Cyprus to stay at the Korineum Golf Resort. A colleague in our office suggested we use a booking company he had previously dealt with, so I called them (go northern cyprus holidays) and after hearing our requirements they suggest the Korineum Golf Resort as a great match for us. Five of us travelled together primarily for a golfing trip. Only one of the group had even visited North Cyprus before so we didn't have a great idea about what to expect. The golf course here at the Korineum was truly excellent. While quite surprised we were thrilled with the high quality course. We spent a week on the course and simply couldn't get enough of the views and fresh air. The course is in a near perfect location with views that are so good they're often distracting from the golf! The main part of the hotel is known as the Residence, and this is where our rooms were. They were extremely spacious and completed to a high standard. The décor was fairly neutral but again, a high standard. The bed was a nice size and comfortable and (importantly to me) hygienically clean. I have a thing about cleanliness and I can say honestly that I was completely happy with the standards of cleanliness and housekeeping here. We took advantage of the hotel Spa – which was fairly normal spa expected at hotels such as this, and ate in the clubhouse restaurants on a few occasions. I'd say that the hotel food would get a 7 out of 10. It was good and there were no complaints, but it wasn't anything exceptional. Even though the hotel was busy (and it was very busy for the first half of the week which we were here) the staff were still happy to try and help with any issue and were (mostly) smiling and polite. The key to this place is the golf, and especially the magnificent course views, but I would recommend this place without a doubt.
