Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 7 of 31 Reviews

My husband and I stayed at the Korineum Golf Resort for our daughters wedding in the middle of september. Our daughter had lived in Northern Cyprus for the last 5 years and both her and her new husband have been avid golfers for a very long time, so they decided the combination of the wonderful views and the golf course, would be a great place to tie the knot.

Right away the hotel resort looking very busy, and it wasn't helped by the seemingly lack of staff struggling to deal with the queue of guests waiting to check in. However, given the benefit of the doubt, when we were served it was pleasantly and the room we were allocated was delightful. I thought is very modern and immaculately clean. Our room was in one of the newer guest houses, but well within reach of everything we needed. The bed was oversized (which is a positive) and the linen was perfectly fresh and clean. My husband did complain a little about the hardness of the mattress but it was obviously a brand new bed. As we were here for a wedding, our group was sizeable and there did seem to be an issue when we all congregated in places like the pool. It was a lovely place to be, but it didn't really accommodate us all (a group of 30ish)

The actual ceremony took place in an truly magnificent place. One thing you have to say about the Korineum Golf Resort is that the views cannot be beaten. From a mountain to a seascape, the scenery is truly wonderful and perfect for an event such as this. It's a shame the food wasn't overly good, as it is probably the only thing that could let the hotel down. All in all, a wonderful experience and some really friendly people. If they address the dining, this could be the place to visit.
