Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 11 of 31 Reviews

I was very lucky to have been given a special treat holiday by my wife for my 50th- she took me to the Korineum Golf Resort as I am keen, but novice, golfer. Now I am the envy of all my friends and one very happy man!

Everything about our holiday was just brilliant, but the golf had to be the best of all! The course was excellent, providing a good challenge to me as I practise at home on a small and simple course. I spent a lot of time either on the course or at the well-equipped driving range whilst my wife was more than happy to spend time relaxing at the bar or in the spa.

Our room was lovely- everything you'd expect from a high-end boutique with all mod-cons. It was spotlessly clean and relatively spacious. We were so busy that we didn't have much time to spend in the room but we felt very comfortable at night.

We ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times, and had the occasional bar snack. The food was very good- we had little to complain about apart from a few breakfast dishes which were tepid.

We were impressed with the layout of the hotel and its beautiful scenic gardens. Even though it wasn't incredibly warm, we still enjoyed plenty of strolls around the gardens. We were also stunned by the nearby Five Finger Mountains.

Although I don't know how much my wife paid for our stay, I'm pretty certain that whatever it was, the price was worth it. We enjoyed every second of our holiday and are intending on taking a return trip, with a few friends in tow.
