Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 10 of 31 Reviews

If you're looking for a very high quality golfing resort, Korineum Golf Resort should be your first choice in North Cyprus. The course itself is not only a worthwhile and challenging course, but the area's surroundings are second to none. I'd been told before arriving that the tee at the 5th offers an incredible view of the Mediterranean, and I would say for sure it is! If Golf is your reason to visit (which obviously mine was) you'll have a lot of fun on the green. There's a lot of tricky areas which are carefully placed to make your round that much more interesting. While I noticed that a lot of the visitors here were golfers particularly, the hotel did host a lot of business and leisure visitors too. I thought the rooms were fantastic value and were certainly above the average standard of hotel offerings in Northern Cyprus. The décor is stylish and has been obviously thought out well. You have everything you'd expect of a high end hotel room, with the bonus of the golf too! Some of them have unbelievable sea views (ask if you'd like one).

There's an incredible clubhouse here too. This is where the bars and restaurants are found. Inside is where you'll find several different bars for relaxing in and also several different restaurants which specialise in a range of food to suit most tastes. The restaurant and eating places are comfortable and inviting. I spent most of my evening free time sampling local cuisine in one of the beautiful clubhouse restaurants. The staff in both the clubhouse and the main hotel were incredibly attentive and helpful, which was a breath of fresh air from my previous visit to a golfing resort where it seemed very strained and stuffy. If you're looking for somewhere to take a golf trip, I simply can't recommend this place enough. The Korineum Golf Resort is true gem and I'm certain that I'll be back again next year with friends.
