Kaya Artemis Resort Hotel Review - 5 of 16 Reviews
This is a hotel review for Kaya Artemis Resort Hotel in Famagusta, North Cyprus
“Three star at best”
Mum and Dad booked this hotel cos it said it was 5 star and it looked fun, but our stay wasn't much fun at all!! if you look at pictures, the hotel is like a giant Greek temple with lots of gardens and streams and a big swimming pool, but the pictures do not show the big building sites next door!!! Our room smelt damp and the smell didn't go even after we ran the aircon all night, AND opened the windows. The big restaurant had buffet meals which were OK, but it never looked very clean in there. The pool was almost too big so you felt you were swimming to Turkey as you swam across it!! The best bit was the beach, great for sunbathing, but anyone could walk onto the rest of the beach even if they were not staying at the hotel which seemed unfair. It was very hot in July, 32 degrees and more, and there were lots of sand bugs about. I think this hotel is more like 3 star than 5 star, and the staff were often busy looking after guests who spend a lot in the casino and ignoring the rest of us. I would not go back again, even if Mum and dad were paying for me AND my friends!!!
