I went to the Green Holiday Village this year with my extended family. I had been to Cyprus before but never this particular location.

The Holiday Village was brilliantly suited to the kind of holiday we wanted- long days, and late nights at the bar. The staff (specifically the manager) were only too happy to indulge us by serving drinks until the early hours of the morning and always being on hand with recommendations for restaurants and bars to visit in the town centre. They seemed to work very long hours and with this in mind their sunny demeanour and pleasant greetings each morning were very impressive.

The whole of the hotel (rooms and pool included) stood out as being incredibly clean and well presented. This cleanliness was complimented by the quiet and relaxing atmosphere around the place. It was strange to find the place so under populated considering the quality and value on offer.

The hotel is located a short ride from the town centre and harbour if for some reason you grow tired of spending too much time there and want to take a trip to some of the various clubs, bars and restaurants. We took a taxi, but as long as there aren't any children with you and it's not too warm it shouldn't be difficult to walk there.

When we left the Holiday Village it was with great regret and the whole family remarked upon what a great time they all had. I will be making a return visit if I get the chance.
