The Dome has very good public rooms, is spacious, well equiopped, stylish if a little dated, has a good breakfast buffet - and is in a really great and unbeatable central liocation in Kyrenia. Swimming off the rocks in late October was a treat! A sea view room is worth the small extra sum. We thought that the rooms - small but perfectly comnfortable - needed some more regular checking to see that things worked properly before being let out. We may have been unlucky, but number of minor aggravations had to be sorted over our 5 night stay. These included new light bulbs (only half working on our arrival); a broken safe (three visits, finally declared unrepairable); hot water from the cold tap (never solved despite plumbers' visits) and a bit of a pong in the bathroom (ditto) . The staff were attentive and helpful and we managed to sort out number of these issues - but rather felt that we should not have needed devote time to this! . Overall - and since we were warned that you can deduct a star or two form the ratings of hotels in Northern Cyprus, we were pleased with our stay at the Dome.
