Denizkizi Royal Hotel Review - 8 of 44 Reviews

My husband and I brought our two kids here for a 2 week break during school summer holidays. The Denizkizi hotel is an ideal family hotel. My husband and I came here years ago by ourselves and we had a great time, but this time we wanted to make sure we picked a hotel that is good for families. We could not have picked a better place than the Denizkizi Hotel. We chose to upgrade to a suite and it was perfect for us! The rooms were large, airy and comfortable. All rooms here at the Denizkizi have their own balconies, and we had a great view of the ocean from ours.

The pool area is extra-large, compared to most hotel pools, and is very well maintained. There's plenty of room and it's never crowded. The beach does get a little crowded, but I would imagine it's only that way during school holidays. Probably if you timed your vacation prior to school letting out for the summer, you'd find very few people at the beach, as it did seem that most people at the beach consisted of families with school-age children. We spent some days at the beach but on days we preferred a bit more solitude, we spent the day at the hotel's pool area. The kids were fine either way.

The food in the Denizkizi hotel dining room was really good but it did get a little repetitive eventually. If we'd been staying only a week, we'd have been fine but two weeks was long enough that we did get tired of it. Still, since the food was so good, we were able to handle the repetitiveness of it easily enough.

This is really a great place for families with kids, but there's not much in the way of nightlife, so if you are looking for that, it's not ideal. However, if what you want is rest and relaxation and a place to sunbathe in the north cyprus sun and sip cocktails, it's wonderful. We plan to come back again and again.

Disliked — wouldnt be ideal for nightlife but not really a dislike for us!
