Denizkizi Royal Hotel Review - 12 of 44 Reviews

We stayed at the Denizkiki, as opposed to the Denizkiki Royal which is right next door and connected by a shared dining room/bar. We can't pass comment on the Royal, but the Denizkiki itself impressed us thoroughly! This hotel was a recommedation from GoNorthCyprus booking company so we'd hoped it would live up to its expectations as our last visit to North Cyprus was excellent. We visited just shortly after the recent renovation of the building and as such the hotel had a very pristine, modern appearance. The balconies have been done away with in favour of large patio windows, but they're big enough that you don't really notice too much. The room we stayed in was very large considering my wife and I were alone, and had a part sea-view out of two of the windows. It was quickly cooled by opening both windows- which was something we had to do often given the amazing, but very warm, weather we enjoyed. We ate breakfast in the Denizkiki Hotel every day. It wasn't a breakfast we would rave about, but it offered everything we expected it to and appeared to be cooked fresh every day. Most nights we ate out at a restaurant for dinner- partly because we were interested to try what the area had to offer in terms of food, but also because the one evening meal we did eat in the hotel was slightly disappointing. There are plenty of readily accessible restaurants nearby and I would strongly recommend making use of them. The beach near the hotel is extremely clean and seems pretty safe to swim out from. There was a surprising amount of space on the beach too, given the fact that it was summer, so we didn't have to hunt for a place to put down our towels. As you can tell, we really enjoyed what was our first visit to North Cyprus and our first visit to the Denizkiki. The locals and staff alike made us feel very welcome and we hope to return some time soon.
