Cratos Premium Hotel Review - 9 of 29 Reviews

My boyfriend and I flew to northern cyprus for a few days away and stayed several days at the Cratos Premium Hotel. I was really surprised at the luxury of this hotel. The lobby was impressive, with polished marble everywhere and beautiful furniture and accessories. Our room was extra large with the same luxurious furniture and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on.

The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel special here at the Cratos; that is as long as there isn't a high roller present at the same time! When we pulled up in front of the hotel, porters rushed to greet us at the car and take our luggage inside. I felt like a celebrity. However, it is pretty obvious that although they treat regular customers well, if someone with a lot of money to spend in the casino walks in, they drop everything to cater to that person, which makes you realize that they only gave us the royal treatment because there wasn't anyone more important here at the same time. Still, it was nice to feel special. At most hotels, you carry your own luggage or have to hunt down a porter and rarely do you get greeted outside, like they do at the Cratos premium hotel.

The casino is built in an Egyptian style, with crystal everywhere. They book performers also, so there are regular shows to provide some entertainment. Otherwise, the only other entertainment in the area is the harbour area, which is packed with north cyprus restaurants and bars. There's a beach close by but not much to see there in winter, which is when we were there. Probably in the summer months the beach offers some entertainment, I'd imagine.

I did get a massage while staying here and it was great! I highly recommend the spa. My boyfriend spent some time in the gym and thought it was a nice gym with plenty of equipment and everything worked. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the North Shield Pub, which was our watering hole while staying here. All were awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
