Colony Hotel Review - 34 of 98 Reviews

I stayed here for a week and a half in october and to be honest my family and I had a fantastic time, which was surprising as im not normally one for going away for our holidays. The Colony hotel had a lovely big pool and was located in a really good spot for venturing out into the town. All in all I thought north cyprus was a great place for a summer holiday but obviously we were visiting in October so im not so sure we got the very most out of it. The Colony Hotel had nice rooms too, you could even describe them as plush. Very clean and had our rowels changed several times per day! That was a very big plus for us. The beds were confortable and the staff were always on hand to help out when or if we had any problems. They were english speaking and very polite for the duration of our stay. As for the food, we ate here all the time and can say we had no complaints. As mentioned in other reviews, the only downside worth mentioning is that the bar prices for alcoholic drinks is very expensive, probably one the most expensive places we saw in North Cyprus. Because of this we didnt even consider the prices for the mini bar! Due to the location of the Colony Hotel, you do get a small amount of road traffic noise, but nothing to keep you up at night. Theres a valet service and a health club too if thats what you like. Id certainly stay here again if i was to visit north cyprus again in the future.
