I stayed on a half board basis -the buffet breakfast was lavish but at the evening meal I

was a little put out to be told that that I had been given the wrong menu and had a far more

limited choice on the half board menu.

The service IS 5-star and the hotel is a very short walk from the town and Kyrenia Harbour.

Although I did not have my children with me, it was obvious that the attitude is very child friendly

- there is valet parking - the staff were friendly - the room was good and clean. I would like to

visit in a warmer time of year since it was not possible to sample the outdoor rooftop pool and bar/restaurant in November.

Apart from the casino, which I did not try, there was little to do in the hotel in the evenings - probably not a place for a single person unless on business or a bar lover since the lovely comfortable bar area appeared to stay open whilst customers were still buying - drinks are expensive though.

Disliked — Very enclosed, no terrace - not ideal for winter
