“A relaxing break in Kyrenia”
This was my first visit to Kyrenia and I really did not know what to expect. Everything was better than I hoped for. The hotel was a luxury hotel – spacious rooms, big comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. The staff give true 5-star service. They see your needs and do their job without being asked, such as bringing us more pool towels, and they are always smiling and friendly.
My first impression of the hotel was alarm as we were on a busy street, right next door to a casino. I had come to Kyrenia for a quiet break, but in the end it was absolutely fine. The casino did not disturb us in any way, and actually it was fun to spend the evening in there after dinner.
The hotel looks very grand and the reception was impressive. The hotel restaurant was good but pricey, so make the most of the breakfast included in the price. It was buffet-style, plentiful and delicious. The pancakes and waffles were freshly made and delicious.
The thing I liked best about the hotel was its location. You can walk into the centre of the town, and it is quite close to the harbour area too for good fish restaurants.
Liked — The professional and attentive staff
Disliked — The tacky shower curtain over the bath
