Club Simena Review - 7 of 40 Reviews
This is a hotel review for Club Simena in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Relaxing if thats what youre after”
Club Simena is located around fifteen minutes away from the town centre of Kyrenia. This distance is relatively unimportant because there are buses and taxis to take you from outside the hotel to whatever destination you're heading to. Because the hotel is a little bit off the beaten track, Club Simena is fairly quiet and removed from the noise of the town centre. The hotel is nicely decorated and appeared to be very clean- the rooms were spotless. It's always nice to arrive and find a clean room waiting there for you.
There are a fair few British expatriates who make visits to the hotel in the evenings for karaoke and club nights, which we found to be a lot of fun but this probably isn't for everyone. If you'd rather spend your nights outside the hotel then Kirenia has a very lively nightclub scene and bars aplenty. If you visit the town during the day you'll find a selection of high street shops open for your perusal. Also present are conveniences such as grocery stores and internet access points.
The staff seemed like fun loving individuals and often joined in with whatever fun and games happened to be going on. The pool was huge and the hotel's surroundings were great fun to explore due to the abundance of Cyprus' amazing wildlife (we spent lots of time trying to find birds and lizards). We had a really relaxing holiday at Club Simena and I'm sure that if you pay them a visit, you will too.
Liked — spotlessly clean rooms on arrival
Disliked — lots of expats, but it wasnt a big issue
