“A great value getaway”
After a while browsing the hotels at GoNorthCyprus.com we chose the Citrus Tree Gardens, which offered fantastic value for a short break in Cyprus out of season. We loved that everything was close by, so there was no need to hire a car to explore. There are beaches about 15 minutes away on foot and you can also walk into the village of Alsancak, which we did. There were lots of rustic tavernas and plenty of shops to poke around in. Our villa was cosy and comfortable and the climate was surprisingly mild despite it being November - it's much more pleasant over there than in the UK, where it had been snowing in Yorkshire while we were away! There's also a sports bar and restaurant at the hotel, and it was nice to meet other Brits and get chatting over dinner. All in all we couldn't fault our stay.
Liked — Lots do see and do around the area, clean and comfortable accommodation
Disliked — Nothing!
