We stayed at the Citrus Tree Gardens hotel in Kyrenia over christmas after reading a lot of great reviews online. The booking was handled by GoNorthCyprus.com although we specifically requested this location so they can't be held responsible for what was to follow in all fairness. The booking process was handled very smoothly and the advisor we spoke to did all they could to help. North Cyprus is a lovely place that we'd highly recommend.

On arrival we were happy to see pleasant hotel buildings that looked clean and tidy - we've experienced some poor hotels in the past. The location was fine too and the weather wasn't bad either. The rooms were fairly well equipped and had a comfy bed. In most hotels we've ever been to, a rudimentary clean on a daily basis is provided by staff and I can't complain about it here.

On a positive note, the food we were served was good. I wasn't expecting ground breaking food but it was certainly enjoyable at the Citrus Tree. Leslie at the reception was the high point of our entire stay really- she was approachable and friendly at seemingly all hours of the day and night and just really helped to make the stay all the more pleasant. For the price, this was a good choice of hotel and I think it's fair to rate it as a good option.
