Citrus Tree Gardens Review - 16 of 29 Reviews

My husband and I booked a really reasonable stay at the Citrus Tree Gardens through gonorthcyprus.com. We requested that we stay in the area of Alsancak because we have friends who run a bar in the there. Gary, an agent at gonorthcyprus, found the Citrus Tree for us as it was perfectly located for our needs. However, for other guests wanting a hotel in the middle of Kyrenia, it may not be a good choice as you definitely need a car or bus to get into Kyrenia Town and to other places of interest. Saying that, the hotel does hire cars to their guests and there is a really frequent bus service that runs close by.

We had a wonderful stay at the Citrus Tree Gardens, mostly because of the hospitality of the staff and owners. They are all really friendly and attentive.

The rooms at the Citrus Tree were comfortable and spacious, with all of the conveniences you'd need. The only negative was the fact that our shower was a bit temperamental as at times it would randomly run cold mid flow. The whole hotel is really well kept and the grounds are beautiful, perfect for an evening stroll! We had a pool view room which captured the sun right into the evening.

We had breakfast at the hotel and found it to be pleasant, if a bit simple. They have a continental selection and eggs cooked to order although if you pay a little extra, they will cook sausages and bacon on request (my husband was a little put out that we had to pay extra!)

The Citrus Tree Gardens Hotel is a really well run and reasonably priced place to stay. Although it is quite far away from Kyrenia, it does have some wonderful local bars and restaurants. We shall definitely stay here again when visiting our friends.
