Chateau Lambousa Hotel Review - 5 of 9 Reviews

I've just returned from a long 2 week break to Kyrenia with my family of four (2 adults and 2 children.) We booked through gonorthcyprus after a friend of mine recommended their site for great deals. It was also really informative, as were the booking agents. Sue dealt with our booking and her customer service was second to none. We chose Le Chateau Lambousa for its appearance as well as its private beach.

Le Chateau Lambousa is a truly stunning-looking hotel, with all of its reception rooms and grounds being kept in a spotlessly clean condition. It was great because we felt like we were getting a piece of luxury for our holiday. To match, our holiday bungalow was in excellent condition, with superb facilities, including working air-conditioning and a lounge area. Although the hotel is very clean, it was a surprise that our bed sheets weren't changed the entire time we were there. We did have fresh towels each day and supplies were replenished, but the lack of clean bed sheets was quite a negative.

The hotel's restaurant was very good, with a huge arrange of items in the breakfast buffet. You could also order freshly booked omelettes which was a nice touch. The hotel doesn't serve a traditional full English, which didn't bother us, but we did notice it being advertised in neighbouring cafes. The most bizarre thing about breakfast was the fact that each day there was a weird hot addition to the buffet. I'm guessing it could be left over food from the evening meal because on one occasion it was cauliflower cheese!!

The facilities at Le Chateau Lambousa are what you'd expect from a hotel of its size and stature. We did visit the hotel's private beach but it seemed to be going through a transition between off-peak and peak season as a lot of the sun loungers and umbrellas were in the process of being put up.

For the price we paid, I'd definitely stay at Le Chateau Lambousa again.
