I was so impressed with the British Hotel! My family and I are already discussing finances so we can book another stay there! We knew before we went that it wasn't a five star hotel with masses of facilities but what it does offer is done very well. It's priced reasonably and is very comfortable.

Sue advised us, when we booked, that the British Hotel had recently been renovated and it certainly lived up to its expectations. The rooms had a fresh modern feel and were really clean. It had all mod-cons, including a decent TV. The shower wasn't incredibly powerful but that's just me being fussy!

The staff at the British Hotel were really friendly- nothing was too much trouble for them. They were all really helpful and professional.

Without a doubt, the best thing about this hotel is its amazing views! It is situated very close to Kyrenia harbour and not only do you get to soak in the scenery but the smell of the sea air is also wonderful! Being situated in Kyrenia had its real advantages as everything was only a short walk away.

Even though we liked the hotel food, we couldn't help but eat out on most nights as the restaurants in Kyrenia are just stunning, with gorgeous fresh produce! We spent a lot of time in and around Kyrenia because it was so vibrant without being too touristy. There were lots of 'touristy' type things to do but all of the locals still went about their usual business. It seemed to be a happy blend of the old and the new.
