Thanks to Jayne Butcher from Go North Cyprus and the www.northcyprushotels.co.uk we enjoyed a very pleasantly and cultured, easy going, great value for money, non eurozone holiday in the TRNC.
As Azil Nadir would say about the Bellapais Monastery Village and also the Hideaway Club, this is luxury you can afford....
The mountains and castles are great, the coastal strip around Kyrenia, your sea view, perhaps less so. Plenty of short walks if you have the Alison's Dewey book of Walks of in North Cyprus (Kibris to the locals).
Best of all in early spring is Maureen Hutichinson's knowledge of flora and village life in Northern Cyprus @ Yundenda, Hiskorkoy.
Pretty good, worth a visit to the most under priveleged and good natured people in the western world.
