Location! Location! Location! This hotel complex has the best situation anywhere in Kyrenia. The views are fantastic over the town, sea and new harbour. It is a pleasant 20-25 minute walk up to the Abbey which is well worth a visit as it is so pretty. The town is 45 minutes pleasant walk, or you can use the hotel bus which is very reliable.

The restaurant and food were very good in the hotel complex serving mainly British food, although there was a Cypriot night with local foods and dancing. We had half-board and it was excellent value for money. The breakfast buffets were continental breakfasts with plenty of choice. The dinners were not a set menu. They let us choose from the à la carte which could not have been better. Wine was quite expensive, in fact the cost of living was not as cheap as I expected in North Cyprus.

The pool area was where we spent a lot of time, but the furniture was a little tatty. Thank goodness there were plenty of nice pool towels to sit on. The pool bar was good – great staff and service. We also enjoyed the sauna, as if it wasn't hot enough already! I would not recommend this hotel for families due to the distance from everywhere, but for everyone else it is a beautiful place to stay.
