Bellapais Monastery Village Review - 32 of 65 Reviews

My first visit here was in September 2011, and it was absolutely fantastic. So my friend and I returned last month for a second trip away after working through the festive period. We stayed in a glorious bungalow over two floors, which may I add was exceptionally clean. There were no problems with any of the amenities either. The shower was always lovely and hot, and there were plenty of luxury toiletries to indulge in.

The room came with a fully stocked mini bar; however, you do have to pay for everything that you use, so bring your own bits and bobs such as tea and coffee or you will have a hefty bill when you leave! If you want take a day out to relax, you can go to the Oscars Hotel for spa treatments. The hotel will arrange free transportation to get there. If you fancy a trip to the popular Northern Cyprus town of Kyrenia there is also a shuttle bus that you can get on for free. The Bellapais Monastery Village has a nice bar that is open until late on most nights, and the drinks are very reasonably priced, which is one of the reasons we drank in there most of the time.

All of the staff at the hotel were really friendly and very helpful. If we were having any difficulties, they would go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our problems were solved. This is definitely somewhere I would stay again. All in all I really enjoyed North Cyprus and would be very happy to make this a regular visit each year. The people here are friendly and far more helpful than I ever could have hoped for.
