I booked my family holiday to North Cyprus on www.gonorthcyprus through Mandy. She totally understood what we were looking for and found us a little gem of a hotel in a perfect location. The Bare Hill Holiday Village is situated outside of Kyrenia town but is just a walk away from the local beach, restaurants and shops. It has stunning views and is very quiet which we liked.

My family had two weeks staying in one of the Bare Hill bungalows. It was really spacious (each of our children had a bedroom each!) and well kept and had enough facilities for self catering. The window sills were a little bug ridden but I imagine that's quite common in somewhere so hot in the summer months.

The hotel grounds were really natural and beautiful and the Bare Hill's large outdoor pool was perfect for our kids, not to mention very clean. You can even see the stunning mountains from behind the hotel.

We found the staff to be really friendly. In fact, on our arrival the first thing they did was offer us a cool drink- we were most grateful for this as we were really hot after our transfer.

The Bare Hill Holiday Village is everything you'd expect from a sun holiday resort and is remarkably reasonable in price. We stayed off peak but we've already looked at prices for the forthcoming summer holidays and it's really not that bad at all!
