Bare Hill Holiday Village Review - 11 of 27 Reviews

During August I flew out to North Cyprus for a business meeting and due to other things happening, I missed my flight back and found myself searching for somewhere to stay just overnight. Bare Hill Holiday village was suggested and when I arrived I couldn't believe how great value the place was. For the price, I really was expected something terrible or run down but Bare Hill was actually pretty decent. I wouldn't say high quality by a mile, but it certainly wasn't terrible either and for the price, you'll struggle to get better.

The room I had was large and basic, but clean and well worth the price - I even had a sea view which was unexpected. Even though I checked in quite late due to it not being planned, but the owners couldn't have been more welcoming about it and even took time to check I had everything I needed. The Bare Hill holiday village was about ten minutes from the city which was great for access. There's plenty in the local area to see, plenty to do and plenty of places to eat too. Like a lot of the other reviewers have said, the place is really close to the beach - easily within walking distance.

What I would say to be totally honest is that you get a great place to stay for the money you pay, however you cant expect a high end place with all the amenities of a 4 star hotel. I would stay away from the word 'cheap' as I think it gives the wrong impression, but it really is rock bottom prices for a value service. It's nice to find an affordable hotel which is a good base if all you need is somewhere nice, clean and pleasant to stay. I ended up staying here for 2 nights and would definitely come back again with my family next summer.
