Altinkaya Holiday Village Review - 11 of 50 Reviews

My wife managed to get an absolute smashing deal on a February break away to Northern Cyprus and it was so enjoyable that I felt it only fair that I spread the word to others using this site. We booked for an extra large room and although that's not a normal option, Sue from GoNorthCyprus arranged for the Altinkaya Hotel to do their best and thankfully, we were very pleased!

The room was very clean, tidy and laid out well. We had a sea view and a balcony too but chose not to use it as the weather clearly wasn't the best due to the time of year. The view was stunning though and you could see a lovely range of hills or mountains in the distance. The hotel staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We never needed anything specific from them but got the feeling they'd be very helpful if need be.

The hotel was pretty relaxing and a lent itself well to those travellers wanting to find a bit of piece and quiet on holiday. We spent a lot of time reading novels as we do when on holiday, but on a few occasions we took a trip into the town of Kyrenia which has some nice sights to see and places to stroll around and have a bite to eat at lunchtimes.

So would I come back to the Altinkaya Hotel? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes again. I feel that the hotel is very well balanced for the likes of us and it's located well too. I'd find it difficult to point out a fault of note and surely that's a positive for the Altinkaya Hotel. If you're coming to North Cyprus, take a look at the Altinkaya first.
