Savoy Ottoman Palace Hotel Review - 9 of 35 Reviews
This is a hotel review for Savoy Ottoman Palace Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“You are whisked away from the hubbub of suburbia and transported to a paradise.”
The hotel is lovely. We were disappointed with the room as we were a party of 2 adults and 2 children (6 years and 1 year respectively). We were put into a double room so it was a squeeze with the kids rollaway bed and cot.
We were HB and the breakfast and evening meals were lovely, but there didn't seem to be a lot of variety. The staff did drop quite a few bits of cutlery which started to get on my nerves after a while as it was always a loud clatter on the tiled floor.
The pool is lovely and clean. We were disappointed that the hotel says about a rooftop terrace and pool but these are restricted only for the presidential suite upstairs. In addition there was some confusion about an indoor pool which also doesn't exist.
The Escape beach club is lovely and we would go back just for access to this facility as it was superb with good value food and drink served.
That said, it was reasonably priced and we enjoyed our stay. I probably would try a different hotel though next time.
Liked — Pool and breakfast, location and the Escape Beach Club
Disliked — Room and lack of rooftop access/indoor pool etc.
