I decided to book a week away last minute after having a look at the gonorthcyprus site and finding Sammy's. It's a cheap, basic hotel but it looked fine as a base for exploring Kyrenia, so I booked in very cheaply. Room was fine, very basic but the bed was comfortable and there is a kettle and cups, you have to bring your own tea etc. Staff were friendly enough and there's a good sized pool with a bar. Very good location, you can walk to the harbour easily and it's the hotel's position that I think really gives it an edge, you save on taxi fares and time spent getting to the town if you were further out. Breakfast was fine, pretty standard but good for filling up before a day walking and getting to know the area. Overall a really cheap break, no complaints.
