We recently spent 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) at The Rocks Hotel. The hotel was very clean and the service excellent. Although it is a 5 star hotel I would say that furnishings and decoration are showing signs of wear and the hotel really needs to keep standards high in this respect. The rooms were very comfortable with good double glazing to reduce/eliminate noise from outside. The hotel is in an ideal location, and it was lovely to stroll along the road leading to the harbour after supper. The harbour certainly seems the place to be on a Friday and Saturday evening, though it was almost deserted on Sunday evening. The town itself is worth exploring and this is easily accessible from the hotel. There was an enormous range of tempting food on offer for breakfast and evening. We would also recommend treating yourself to afternoon tea! It was nice to see a real spread of ages in the clientelle, though I did not notice any children.

Liked — Almost everything
Disliked — It was a pity that the area around the pool was not in use for lounging during the day.
