“lovely setting with great views, fantastic pools , and lots of food”
Mandy was fantastic at organising a one night stay for a family of 5 in a villa at very short notice. We were half board and there was lots of food both for breakfast and evening meal and as it was self service you could have as much as you wanted which pleased my 3 hungry children, giving them a chance to try the local foods or opt for something they knew or was similar. You will have to purchase drinks in the evening as they are not included in the HB option. Basic but comfortable and clean, rustic villa that had a balcony to look at the mountains in one direction and the sea in the other. Spacious enough for all 5 of us with a bed downstairs in the lounge area. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge which is useful if you purchase drinks from the shop on site but i think the kitchenette area is wasted space and they could make a 3 bed villa to accommodate families of 5 or 6 properly as i'm not sure people would self cater as there is another a la carte restaurant on site and other restaurants not far away. Tv but only local channels. The kids were kept happy with the children's pool with slides and the olympic size pool whilst adults took advantage of the poolside by the adults only pool amongst idyllic planting. The play area with trampoline on artificial grass and a fab play area to keep younger ones entertained meant it is safe for them to run around. Wi-fi available but needs to be bought at reception Reception can seem dis-organised and chaotic as alot going on but just a bit of patience needed as customer service is slightly different to the uk. They are friendly and will help you eventually. You might need to hire a car to get out and about , there was plenty of information at reception . We enjoyed our brief stay, the weather was great at this time of year. Not sure what this place would be like at full capacity but lots of people we met had been coming in may for the past 4/5 years. Family friendly as well as catering for retired couples.
Liked — fantastic local foods
Disliked — the kitchen area, needed an extra bedroom
