This is a children's hotel, no doubt about it. The pool is massive, and has a little aqua park with flumes which kept our two kids (7 and 9) entertained for hours each day (and tired them out so that they had an early night and my wife and I had a few hours alone each evening.) Our apartment was clean, although it looked like it could do with a bit of a face lift. The beds and furniture were all comfy, and we had no complaints from any family member. There was air conditioning, although we didn't like the fact that you had to be in the room to switch it on (it is powered by your key) which meant that we had to wait a while before the room cooled down when we came back from the pool. This is probably to save money or energy, but it didn't help our grumpy, overheated children after they had been playing in the pool and let me tell you that Cyprus is VERY hot in the summer months. There are plenty of shaded areas at this complex, so make sure you move out of the sun sometimes. We stayed on site most of the time, and the only thing missing was a bit more entertainment. While the hotel had loads of things for us to do during the day, other places we have been to have things organized in the evenings, like music or bingo, and there wasn't anything like that during our stay. The food at the restaurant was ok. It was actually ideal for our children, as it was quite plain, but my wife and I would have liked to have seen some more variety or local flavours on the menu. The staff were all very helpful and polite, and were a real hit with our children.
