“Great but avoid front facing rooms”

We upgraded to delux room but were shocked to find ourselves in a room overlooking a petrol filling station and car wash. There was a balcony but who would want to sit on it in the evening having a 'sundowner' before evening meal. This has always been our usual practice.

The room was not acceptable and to our delight we were moved to the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden and pool. This was not just a better room but we felt we were in a much superior hotel. From then on all was great,room fantastic and sundowners delightful. Would fully recommend as long as you avoid the front of the hotel!
