Having read all the reviews for this hotel I was unsure whether I would like it or not. Arrived at the hotel at around 9.00pm, to find that they did not have a room for us. As long as we had somewhere to sleep for the night I was not too bothered. We were allocated a room in the original block facing onto the road which was very noisy, however we had something to eat and then went to sleep. Next morning we were taken across to block 2 to our deluxe room. Could not fault the room at all, if we had been given this room on our first night we would have not had anything to complain about. The pool is absolutely fantastic and every morning before breakfast we went down for a swim.

Food is excellent, staff are extemely good and very friendly. There is a lady comes round every morning asking if everything is okay, so I don't understand if people have a problem why they don't speak to her and get it sorted. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I think not having the room you have booked on your arrival is a very common occurence but it did not spoil our holiday. Who ever wrote it is a 15 minute walk to the harbour must have been running because we don't walk slowly but it took us 20-25 minutes to get there. All in all a very good holiday but would not rate it as a 4* more like a 3.5*. I understand someones comment about an oasis, as it is a lovely hotel stuck in the middle of apartments, casinos and shops. Not an ideal location for such a nice hotel.
