I first visited Kyrenia last year and only managed to leave it a few months before returning! The Pia Bella Hotel was recommended by a friend and I can understand why. The superior room was lovely, the service was faultless and the staff were so attentive and catered for my every need.

At the back of the hotel are two pools that are extremely clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens that are very well kept. The weather was incredibly hot but it was easy to find shade under the citrus trees and the waiters provided a constant bar service and daily ice creams!

The hotel is situated only a short walk from town and the shops and harbour - I am lucky to have friends in Lapta who took me out to my favourite places such as Bellapais, Escape Beach and up to restaurants such as Silver Rocks and Veni Vici in Lapta. However, there are plenty of reasonably priced trips on offer through the hotel or alternatively they can book you a taxi.

All in all this hotel represents extremely good value for money and the atmosphere is so relaxing - it is simply an oasis of tranquilty. I am sure it won't be long before I return.
