This is a hotel review for Pia Bella Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Good hotel with helpful staff, but cold swimming pool”
Aged 45 and 65, we stayed for a week at the end of Nov/Dec using the hotel as a base for family to join us for 3 days. We upgraded to a suite which was lovely and roomy, and not hugely more expensive. Go North Cyprus organised for the children and grand children to have ajoining rooms pool view, which worked well. I suggest going for pool view rooms as the road side ones are noisy and get no sun. Hotel grounds are great and value for money good, large beers 4.5 TL. evening meal poor. Iit's quite a nerve racking walk with 3 small boys down to the old harbour .. about 20 mins along some dark pavements. Taxi home about 8 TL. The hotel welcomes children, but has no swings or slides . We had fabulous sunny weather, but the pools were too cold to go into.
If we meet up with children again we would choose a different hotel.
Liked — Grounds, ease of parking, weather
Disliked — Dangerous walk to harbour with children, dinner
