Pia Bella Hotel Review - 139 of 149 Reviews

I don't usually write reviews but having seen some bad ones of this hotel I felt I had to address the balance. We booked our fortnight at the Pia Bella in Kyrenia through our favourite travel site; gonorthcyprus.com. We love northern Cyprus and like to try different hotels and this company never fails to deliver (big thanks to Garry).

After a very long night flight the 6 of us arrived at Pia Bella around 10.30am. It was pretty warm and even though we were hours ahead of the check in time they gave us a room to relax and freshen up in. We were also told that our special request to have rooms together had been granted at would be ready in a couple of hours, great stuff! These rooms were simply lovely. Spacious and comfortable, we had air con and coffee and tea making facilities. We were at the back of the hotel and the views over the mountains, especially the sunset, were stunning. We could also look down over the street below and do a spot of people watching. The breakfasts were amazing, and I loved the fact your eggs were made to order and not in those dish things that keep food hot. We ate these, along with fruit and delicious home made pastries on the terrace, and washed it down with strong Turkish coffee. The more we explored the Pia Bella the more spaces we found to relax and chill out. As well as the pool area you could escape the sun beneath the palm trees beside the bar, or sink into one of the comfy couches for a siesta.

There are 2 pools at this hotel. A smaller, dipping pool perfect for cooling off and sunbathing beside in the hotter weather, and a larger one where they have activities organised. Lime trees offered welcome shade here and we spent much time here with a cocktail, local beer and even a milkshake. The entertainment here was of a higher quality than we have experienced in the past. There was a local duo who sang and were really good, but I can't for the life of me remember their name! Thank you to Go North Cyprus Holidays and the staff at the Pia Bella for giving us a wonderful holiday from start to finish. We have already booked another trip for this September, and this time there are 10 of us going!
