I've just come back from a great half term break with my children, staying at the Pia Bella Hotel. It was a really lovely hotel and comparable with any other hotel we've stayed in when abroad.

Our room at the Pia Bella was towards the back of the hotel. Although we didn't have an amazing view, it was incredibly spacious for a family room and had all conveniences you'd expect. The room was kept very clean and décor and furnishings were of a good standard.

The facilities in the hotel were perfect for my family. The pool was large and spotlessly clean. There was also entertainment put on every night for the guests which we really enjoyed. I also loved the pianist in the restaurant for the evening meals; it added a touch of class and was really relaxing.

The only downside to the Pia Bella Hotel is the food. Although well prepared and kept in hygienic conditions, it was lacking in flavour and the choice was very limited. The desserts were the best thing they had to offer and even these weren't what I'd expect from a four star hotel. However, in all honesty, I'm yet to stay in a hotel abroad where the meals live up to my expectations.

The Pia Bella Hotel is really well located as it's a short distance from Kyrenia Harbour. At night it's very quiet, but it is still close enough that guests don't have to worry about finding transport to get out and about.

I would probably stay at the Pia Bella again because the price was really reasonable, especially during peak times. I would also book through Go North Cyprus Holidays company again as they were very helpful in finding this deal for me.
