Palm Beach Hotel is right next to the Forbidden Zone (check out the history) and its sad to see these ruins but it does mean that the hotel is very quiet. Service is excellent and our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean for our whole stay. The bed was a little on the hard side but comfortable nonetheless. Wifi worked well and the air con was excellent. We went for a relaxing time and didn't do much sightseeing so can't comment on availability of day trips etc. The food was amazing, we paid the extra for half board and this is worth doing. Beautifully presented buffet food with something for everyone and absolutely delicious. Free water with all meals was appreciated and the service in the restaurant was outstanding. Beverages probably on a par with most hotels, not overly expensive but there are a couple of bars near the hotel that are cheaper. However, the best part to this hotel is the fantastic beach, certainly one of the best I've seen in Cyprus. Shelving gently, it is ideal for children and there is a wide diversity of fish to be seen while snorkelling. High spot of the weekend for me was seeing and swimming with a huge turtle. Very good spa with reasonably priced massages - recommend the aromatherapy massage. lovely! All in all, I would recommend this hotel for couples looking to chill out.
