Palm Beach Hotel Review - 15 of 41 Reviews

I took my two children to North Cyprus during the Easter holidays for a treat as they've both been working hard at school and my eldest has her GCSEs coming up. I can't do holidays by halves so asked Gary at Go North Cyprus to recommend somewhere that was luxurious and plentiful in terms of things to do. He suggested the Palm Beach hotel and I'm so glad he did! It was just superb.

The whole hotel has been decorated to a high standard, with that feel of a luxury hotel. We had a Junior Suite and although it wasn't as big as the name might suggest, it was incredibly comfortable, with all the facilities you'd expect. It was always kept immaculately clean and bedroom extras (shampoo etc) were topped up on a daily basis.

The thing that my family and I liked best about the hotel was its incredible food! The breakfast buffet was huge, with a fantastic choice, including food suitable for fussy teenagers! We ate in the hotel restaurant about 3 times and were so impressed with the taste and portion sizes! It was actually hard to go anywhere else because we were always comparing the food to the hotel!

My children loved the fact that the hotel had its own private beach. They spent most of their day relaxing on the sand or swimming in the sea, even when the weather was a bit cooler! I was really pleased that the hotel was situation in such a beautiful area, with the old town of Famagusta not too far away. I did drag the kids out on a few site-seeing trips and it was well worth the visit (I think even they agreed, with the exception of the long walk to the town!)

The hotel was quite expensive, as you would expect from something high end but it was worth every penny. We shall definitely be planning another trip to Famagusta and without a doubt will choose the same hotel.
