This is a hotel review for Oscar Resort Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Excellent hotel for children, great pools”

The hotel is a bit isolated from Kyrenia centre and it is quite obvious that the management want you to stay on site, where prices are somewhat inflated. The pools though are fantastic but the water slide times of operation are regulated by an attendant who had a dictatorial complex. The family pool side room was well appointed, clean and of a good size. It's just a shame that the workmanship, especially in the bathroom was somewhat lacking with missing screws in the shower soap holder, tiles that didn't quite cover the wall they were supposed to, etc. The reception staff were far from being the friendliest, thay all had an attitude of 'take it or leave it', no smiles, no good mornings, no feelings of 'Good will'.

Disliked — The arrogant hotel staff
