I stayed at Mountain View Hotel recently for the first time and I'm glad we did. I was quite impressed with this hotel. My boyfriend and I were visiting North Cyprus for 10 days, so since we were staying such a long time, it was important that we have a great hotel. The Mountain View did not disappoint us! In fact, from the moment we arrived, I was made to feel like royalty. The staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. In short order, we were in our room.

And speaking of our room, I was even more impressed with the hotel after I saw the room. There were fresh flowers on the table, the fridge was well-stocked, and everything was fresh and clean. Even the bathroom had no leftover mold or mildew from previous occupants, which is the exception rather than the rule in most hotels.

I can't say enough good things about the folks who run this hotel. We asked directions to a nearby historical site and the lady at the reception desk pulled out a map and gave us detailed directions on how to get there, then called a taxi for us. She was so friendly and nice that I found myself asking her a lot more questions and she answered everything and was very patient and eager to help. Communication was no problem as the staff here spoke very good English, so that's always a plus when you travel abroad.

In short, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Some friends of ours recommended it to us and I'm grateful that we have the chance to tell others what a pleasant stay we had. We do plan to return next year and hopefully we'll get to stay at the Mountain View Hotel again when we next find ourselves in northern cyprus.
