Merit Park Hotel Review - 29 of 39 Reviews

Just recently returned from our 15 day holiday at the Merit Park in North Cyprus. Myself and my wife found this to be a wonderful hotel. The food and wine for an all inclusive was probably the best we have ever had. The people working there made our stay extremly pleasant and special mentions to Hasan, Sinthiya and Emma who worked hard on the bars and were a lot of fun.

If we were to pick up on any points for improvement it would have been nice to have more activites but this could be due to the time of year we went.

We played tennis most days, swam in the lovely 50m pool and often spent the morning fishing on the rocks. The hotel spa was excellent and very relaxing.

There is a small area of beach which is shared with other hotels but Merit Park are currently buiding new bars and platforms to the sea which will be perfect for entering into the sea.

Travelling around this time or year we were lucky with the weather, although a little rain, most days we had high 20,s so perfect and the evening was mainly fine for T-shirt wear - though a couple of evenings were a little cooler.

Kyrenia is the nearest town - whilst not bad, neither was it so amazing. We found a couple of restaurants and an excellent bar (George's Cafe) which was exeptionally friendly and a lot of fun.

We took one trip to Nicosia, the capital which was good for a half day.
