This is a hotel review for Merit Hotel Lefkosa in Nicosia, North Cyprus

“Relaxed and Comfortable”

My visit to this hotel in December 2009 was my second and I will be back. It has good quality rooms and facilities and is certainly the best I have stayed in on Cyprus - north or south. Staff are friendly but, if you do not speak Turkish, you must accept that language may be an issue with cleaning staff. All other staff converse well in English. Cleanliness is high, reception is efficent, pool and leisure facilities are good, breakfast is excellent with a wide choice.

Security arrangements apply to the casino area and there is a more strict dress code in that part of the hotel. If you are wearing shorts, use the front door!
