Long Beach Resort Hotel Review - 9 of 21 Reviews

I've just returned from the most amazing holiday to Famagusta, staying at the Long Beach Resort Hotel. The place has literally everything you could want in a hotel, all bar one thing-its food.

The Long Beach is fantastically located, near shops, bars and a beautiful beach. You are literally spoilt for choice about where to spend each day, whether it be sightseeing, swimming or bathing on the beach.

Our beach front bungalow was beautifully kept and very clean. It felt spacious and had really good facilities, as well as a wonderful view! I also loved the addition of sunbeds on our balcony.

I would love to return to the Long Beach Resort Hotel as I was impressed with so much, including its friendly staff. However, the food issue is seriously putting me off-it was awful compared to everything else. The breakfast buffet had such little choice and was so basic that some mornings all I ended up eating was a cheese roll! The evening meals were even worse with main dishes being tainted by some seriously clashing ingredients that brought a whole new level to fusion cooking!

I booked my stay for my wife and I through gonorthcyprus.com and I cannot recommend them enough. Gary was particularly helpful in finding the accommodation, at a really excellent price. Although we will be using gonorthcyprus.com again, unfortunately we won't be staying at the Long Beach Resort next time. Food is far too important for us!
