“A basic bolthole in a great spot”
If you're looking for a basic bolthole from which to explore Kyrenia then the Life Hotel is a good choice. It's a no-frills setup but clean and well run, and in a very good location if you want to get around and see the sights. We got a good price with gonorthcyprus.com. A plus point is the food - we weren't expecting much but actually the meals were a wonderful taste of traditional Turkish and Cypriot cuisine, very fresh and delicious. You're very close to the centre of Kyrenia here so it's easy to explore on foot, we visited the castle, the harbour and did a lot of walking through the town, some great restaurants to be found. There are beaches not too far away by bus and the weather was still pleasant in October, which was an added bonus.
