Upon arrival at the LA hotel and resort, my and family and I were greeted by friendly faces who clearly were pleased to see us and keen to impress. In fact, the owner was in the foyer when we arrived and he himself offered to show us around and chat to us about the best places to visit in the area.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the maid service was excellent; we had everything we needed!

Although we paid for bed and breakfast, we were encouraged to eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening. We were so pleased that we did as the food was excellent. What we loved was the mixture of tradition and more common dishes. It was particularly good at catering for the needs of the children.

Our 3 primary aged children were made to feel very welcome and loved spending time around the three hotel pools. No-one ever made them feel like they weren't welcome. Before going on holiday, we had read that the hotel was set back from the main attractions in Kyrenia and were slightly worried that this may be difficult with children. However, it never proved to be a problem as the local bus stopped right outside the hotel on regular occasions. We didn't feel that we needed to venture too far anyway as the hotel has its own private beach and although the weather wasn't scorching; it was clean enough to allow the children to play whilst we sat in the sun.

Overall, we were very impressed with our holiday and are keen to go again, as soon as possible. We had a fantastic time and couldn't have asked for more in a 3 star hotel.
