Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 21 of 31 Reviews

We had such a wonderful week at the Korineum I had to write a review. We flew to Larnaca and arranged a return transfer to the resort. Some guests had flown to Turkey and had a few problems. When we got there we were offered an upgrade to an elite room on the upper level with sea view, so glad we took it! We booked our holiday through gonortherncyprus.com and they were outstanding from start to finish - a really personal service I thought.

Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and friendly, and really went out of their way to make sure you had the best time possible. The only draw back, for me anyway, was that the bed was a bit harder than I'm used to, but my husband who has arthritis, slept like a log with the support it gave him.

The food was outstanding and there were some local dishes I got to try for the first time. The evening entertainment wasn't great in terms of how often it was on but it was out of season in January so it didn't bother us as our whole aim was to relax for a week. We took a lovely trip into Kyrenia, which has one of the loveliest harbours I've ever seen.

While the golf course is kept in pristine condition, its a bit tough to walk over. There are loads of buggies available but unless you have a medical certificate you are meant to stick to the paths with these. Judging by the amount on the fairways however it would seem everyone had a certificate!

This was one of the best holidays we have ever had and have already booked another trip with Go North Cyprus for later this year and are taking some friends with us to introduce them to the delights of northern Cyprus.
