Kemerli Konak Hotel Review - 7 of 19 Reviews

My husband and I have just returned from our first visit to Kyrenia, which we booked for our 20th wedding anniversary. I can honestly say that I was taken aback by the beauty of the area- it was such a contrast to busy tourist areas in other countries.

I booked the stay through www.gonorthcyprus who recommended the Kemerli Konak boutique hotel for its beauty and peaceful location. We cannot thank them enough for this recommendation as the hotel was stunning in a stunning location. The only drawback was the fact that it took an awful long time to find! It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere (so it's quite essential that you hire a car) and being close to the river, it was in an unlikely position which is why I think we couldn't find it!

The rooms at the Kemerli Konak are tastefully decorated and in keeping with the Cypriot style of the hotel. I was very impressed with the number of toiletries provided, as well as slippers! It was kept spotlessly clean and the maid service was really efficient. This mirrored the general service we found from the staff around the whole hotel.

For us, the best thing about the Kemerli Konak has to be its gorgeous archway restaurant. Breakfast included a wonderful choice of fresh food and the evening meals were fantastic. Better still was the price of the evening meals, which in most cases turned out to be cheaper than local restaurants!

We won't hesitate to return to this wonderful hotel again and can't wait to explore a little more of Kyrenia. On the plus side, as well, we won't struggle to find it next time!
