My wife and I travelled to Kyrenia to last month for a weeks break to get away from the stress of our very demanding jobs. We both work in the medical industry and can't ever find a moment to ourselves so when we saw an opportunity we jumped at it.

After a quick look around online we decided we'd visit the Dome Hotel as it looked quite nice and fairly relaxing, which was just what we were looking for. We certainly weren't disappointed either. We arrived at night so we couldnt appreciate the surroundings instantly, but the hotel was obviously refurbished quite recently, and done so to a high standard. The decor was very complimentary and designed to create a warm and relaxing ambiance.

My wife particularly loved how friendly the hotel staff were, and how they were always ready to help the customers with almost any issues we had. I on the other hand found the bar a great sanctuary, with a pianist adding to the enjoyment too. Both my wife and I are quite dedicated fitness enthusiasts so when we were told the new sauna was open in the residents gym we were very pleasantly surprised.

One of the hotels best features is the level of cleanliness. Every room was spotless and we simply couldnt have found a hygiene fault at any part of our trip whatsoever. We spent most of the time relaxing with books or swimming in the hotel pool, but we're planning to return to the Dome Hotel next year (or hopefully sooner!) and explore a little more of Kyrenia for ourselves. All in all we would highly recommend this place as an exceptional holiday location to anybody looking for a relaxing escape.

Liked — The location was fantastic and the hotel newly refurbished.
Disliked — Difficult to think of something relevant!
